Presentations are not just “ppts” which you personally present to an audience. With all the information online, every other presentation gets uploaded in some form to the net. SlideShare being the outlet of choice. How many times have we seen online presentations on SlideShare which are completely unreadable.
People seem to forget the fact that what they upload to slideshare are the slides of the presentation – not the presentation itself!
So here is a good example of how an uploaded (text-only) presentation should look like. When you look at the slides imagine what the images would look like in isolation, without the text.
When you read a presentation online, the reader should feel like they were there. Whats the point giving the reader an incomplete (and potentially wrong) experience.
